Monica began her career working in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and then corporate credit for six years. She then worked in accounting for a small business managing rental properties. After that, she spent four years as a Staff Accountant at a CPA firm in Stuart, Virginia, focusing on business and corporations. When she relocated to the Winston Salem area, she worked as a Staff Accountant for a MLM company managing commissions, sales tax, registrations, etc. in multiple states. In 2011, she launched A New Day Accounting — while also working during tax season for a franchise tax office. Today, she enjoys providing quality accounting and tax services on a referral basis to local businesses and individuals with complex tax returns.
